Welcome to The Writer’s Block.
This side pocket, bowel or appendix of the internet is meant to serve as a reservoir of dark (sometimes campy) fiction. Not meant as a place for fan fiction, make sure your ideas are your own, and if not, they do not use proper nouns and ideas stolen -directly- from other interests in your life.
Modern, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, or Vingets: the only requirement is that is seem like a complete idea, and it is ‘interesting’ to read. If you want to post poetry make sure it’s some creepy esoteric Cth’uhlu shit, or tie it -into- a story.
Additionally if you post something, take the time to read someone else’s stories; comment, critique them, and even rate them. If there are grievous errors, inconsistencies, or even literary gold, be sure to tell someone. We are here to make us better.
You can post writing News. Literary things about books, stories, writing or authors that catch your eye. Make sure to include a picture with these posts. Literary News articles do not -require- more tags.
If you copy your work from elsewhere, be advised that your formatting may not be preserved (namely paragraph breaks).
Lastly is the ‘more’ tag. If you have a piece that is longer than a quarter of a page please use the tag after your first four paragraphs (possibly your first if it is real long).
There may be addendums to this in time. In the meantime please take the time to read the stories here and have some fun getting to know each other as, now, writers.
